Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Nine Acre Design Co. (“Zaptitude,” “we,” “us”). By using Zaptitude, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Zaptitude.

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, or to be using Zaptitude through your school. If your school gave you access, its rules for school technology apply too.

You sign in with your Google account. Keep that account secure; you're responsible for what happens in Zaptitude under it. If you think someone else is using it, tell us at nineacredesign@gmail.com.

Zaptitude gives general information to help you explore careers. It is notcareer, financial, college admissions, or legal advice, and it doesn't guarantee any job, salary, admission, or outcome.

• Pay, job outlook, education costs, and time estimates come from public sources such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, O*NET, and the U.S. Department of Education, plus our own estimates. They can be out of date, and your real numbers will depend on where you live, the school you choose, and more.
• Some descriptions and comparisons are written by AI and can be wrong.
• School and program listings may be incomplete. Always confirm details, prices, and requirements with the school itself.

Please don't:

• Try to access another person's account or information, or anything we haven't given you access to.
• Copy, scrape, or download our content or data in bulk, including with bots or automated tools.
• Interfere with Zaptitude, overload it, or try to get around its security.
• Use Zaptitude to harass anyone, pretend to be someone else, or break the law.
• Resell Zaptitude or use it to build a competing product.

Plans, notes, and other things you add to Zaptitude belong to you. You let us store and display them so we can run Zaptitude for you (and for your school, if you connected it). That permission ends when you delete them or your account.

Zaptitude's design, writing, software, and brand belong to us or the people who license them to us. You can use them to explore careers for yourself; please don't copy or reuse them otherwise.

Zaptitude includes information from the O*NET Database by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA), used under the CC BY 4.0 license. We have modified some of this information. USDOL/ETA has not approved, endorsed, or tested these modifications. O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA.

Zaptitude is free right now. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may stop offering Zaptitude. If we plan to shut it down, we'll try to give you notice and a way to download your plans first. If we ever charge for anything, we'll tell you before you pay and you'll never be charged without agreeing to it.

You can stop using Zaptitude and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Zaptitude is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Zaptitude won't be responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information in Zaptitude, and our total responsibility to you for any claim won't exceed $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, except where the law where you live says otherwise. If you have a concern, please email us first. Most problems can be sorted out that way.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and we'll tell you in Zaptitude before an important change takes effect. If you keep using Zaptitude after that, you accept the new terms.
